| Job Description : |
Technical Building Manager required for a leading heating and renewable company. They cover the whole of the UK however this role will focus on the South East of England. This role will be reporting into the Operations Manager and will require you to take overall responsibility for technical, conditional and suitability of domestic roofing and building advice. This role will ensure that you are the business expert in this field.
This role will focus in the delivery of PV Installation work and enhance drive for continuous improvement in terms of quality and customer service. It will be your role to provide technical assurance for legislation, regulation and codes of practice with regard to delivery of roof works, produce technical draws of building/ roof structures and identify building defects and give technical advice where needed. You will work with Field Operations to identify, develop and deliver technical training / updates to partners to ensure high levels of technical compliance and customer service are upheld. You will be actively involved in accident investigation and complaints process relating to PV installation work and will liaise with Divisional HSE team regarding compliance undertaken across the business.
It is essential that you have extensive relevant building surveying or construction background and that you have relevant work experience in building maintenance and refurbishment work. It would be a plus if you have experience of training design and development. You require management experience as you will be leading a small team of field based surveyors.
The client is looking for a candidate to start on a three month contract with a view to becoming perm.
Salary £40 - £45K
The position is commutable from anywhere within the South East/ London area.
